I had a fantastic stay at this charming property. The location was perfect, with easy access to the center of town and stunning hiking trails nearby. The room was clean and comfortable, with great views outside. The host, Lynne, was delightful and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The continental breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of thoughtful touches, such as complimentary tea and coffee. I would highly recommend this place.
One minor downside was that the room could get quite warm, even with the radiator turned down.

Absolutely loved our stay at this lodge during Christmas! The location was perfect, with easy access to all the beautiful sights of the Peaks. The room was clean and comfortable, with stunning views outside. The added touch of tea and coffee in jars and plenty of delicious biscuits was a bonus. The continental breakfast was delicious and plentiful, giving us a great start to our day. The host was kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The bed was super comfy and the shower was great. The little extras, like a table football, made our son’s stay extra special. Highly recommend!
If I had to nitpick, there was a nearby rail track which might disturb sensitive sleepers. It's worth bringing ear plugs just in case.
